During the 3  month period from June to August the team took nearly 21,000 calls.

During the same period our clinicians carried out nearly 16,000 telephone and face to face appointments! 

We do appreciate your patience and co-operation. We are upgrading our telephone system and are having more phone lines installed, in order to ensure we can provide a quality service to you and to meet the high demand.

Face to face appointments are available to all patients but you will be asked to discuss your conditions over the phone or online first to  assess what would be most appropriate for you. We are all working doubly hard as this means some patients may need 2 appointments, a telephone triage and face to face as demand is so high.

The reason the triage system is in place is to reduce avoidable footfall in the practice to protect   patients and staff from infection given the current Covid-19 and flu risks.
If you need us the easiest way to contact us is through the E-consult service on our website. Not only does this free up the telephone lines, allowing some of our more vulnerable patients who are unable to use the E-consult get through, it also helps us to help you more efficiently.
