Hello, my name is Dr Karen Cavan. I graduated from the University of Dundee in 2007. I completed my junior doctor years at home in Northern Ireland, before moving to Devon in 2009 to complete my GP training, some of which was in Rolle Medical Partnership as a registrar. I am delighted to be working on a permanent basis with this fabulous team at Rolle.

I consider myself privileged to work in primary care and value the doctor patient relationships formed in general practice. I am particularly interested in children's health, ophthalmology and cardiology. I am spending time helping to train some of the medical students from Exeter University, which I thoroughly enjoy.

Outside of work most of my time is spent being a 'mummy' to two beautiful boys. I also enjoy sport, particularly golf, and am often seen cheering on the Chiefs at Sandy Park.
