I qualified as a Registered General Nurse at St James's University Hospital, Leeds, in 1988.After a short time on an acute medical elderly care ward, I worked in a Plastic and Reconstructive/ Orthopaedic / Trauma Surgery High Dependency Unit before moving to Fife, Scotland to work in Intensive Care. I completed sixteen years in ITU, both in Fife and at the RD&E, then commenced my Practice Nurse career at Rolle in 2008.I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of my job, particularly the wide range of skills we use daily to treat our patients of all ages.I am the Respiratory Specialist Nurse and therefore look after our asthma and COPD patients.

I live in Exmouth with my husband and dog and have two grown-up daughters. My main interest is SW Comms Band, the highest ranked brass band in Devon. I both play in and manage the band as we compete and entertain throughout the South West.We can regularly be seen playing on the pitch at Sandy Park in support of the Exeter Chiefs who share our sponsor.
