Dr Joseph Mays
Gender: Male
Primary qualifications: BSc MBChB Bristol 1998 MRCSEd FRCGP
Dr Mays graduated from Bristol University Medical School in 1998. He completed Basic Surgical Training in 2002 with Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. After two years of Higher Surgical Training in Orthopaedics, Dr Mays moved to training in General Practice and gained his MRCGP in 2006.
In 2025 Dr Mays was made a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners (FRCGP)
Dr Mays offers minor surgical procedures and joint injections alongside his usual GP duties.
Dr Mays has had an interest in healthcare leadership and management since 2010, gaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership Development from the Royal College of General Practitioners and the University of Exeter Business School in 2012.
When not working at Rolle, Dr Mays works supporting the design and delivery of cancer services in Devon and Cornwall.
