Gender: Female
Primary qualifications: DipNSc, BSc, NMP (non-medical independent prescriber)
Specialises in: Diabetes and minor illness

Having completed my nurse training in Southampton in 1995 I worked in both medical and surgical environments in order to consolidate my training. In 2001 I transferred to primary care and started working as a community nurse. After a move to Devon in 2003 I continued to work in the community and lead the ‘evening nursing service’ covering East Devon for several years. In 2008 I started my ‘practice nursing’ career and have not looked back! I have a special interest in diabetes and minor illness and enjoy my extended role as a ‘non-medical prescriber’. General practice is my passion and I feel very privileged to be working at Rolle alongside a very experienced practice Nurse team as well as the wider team of doctors and administration staff.

On a personal note, the move to Devon was supposed to be temporary due to my military husbands posting to the area but we fell in love with Devon and decided to stay. I have a son at university and an increasingly independent pre-teen daughter! When I do have spare time I enjoy family walks and baking.
